🌿 Care Overview:

Light Requirements:
💡 Medium to High – Bright lighting enhances the golden tones. Insufficient light can cause the plant to turn greener and grow leggy.

CO₂:
🌫️ Recommended – CO₂ supplementation promotes optimal growth, coloration, and density, though the plant can survive without it in a well-lit, nutrient-rich tank.

Nutrients:
🧪 Rich nutrient supply needed, especially:

• Iron – essential for maintaining its yellow-golden hues.

• Nitrate & Phosphate – moderate levels help avoid stunted growth or pale leaves.

• Use of root tabs and liquid fertilizers is beneficial.

Temperature:
🌡️ 22–28°C (72–82°F)

pH Range:
⚖️ 6.0–7.5

Growth Rate:
⚡ Fast – requires regular trimming to prevent overshadowing other plants.

Placement in Aquarium:
📍 Midground to Background – works well in clusters to form golden backdrops or accents.

Propagation:
✂️ Stem cuttings – Simply trim a healthy shoot and replant it into the substrate.
