Benefits for Planted Aquariums

The dark colour of Indica Soil helps create strong contrast with green and colourful aquatic plants. Its soil granules provide a practical planting medium while allowing aquascapers to create slopes and different substrate elevations.

As an active soil, it can influence aquarium water parameters such as pH and KH. Water parameters should therefore be monitored after setting up a new aquarium.

How to Use

Add the soil directly to the aquarium and shape it according to the desired aquascape. Do not rinse the soil before use, as washing can damage the granules and produce excess dust.

Plant aquatic plants carefully into the substrate and introduce water gradually to minimize disturbance. Regular water changes during the initial setup period are recommended while the aquarium stabilizes.

Important Note

Indica Soil is an active substrate and may lower pH and KH. Monitor water parameters regularly, particularly when keeping sensitive fish or shrimp.
