Installation & Maintenance

Mount the filter securely on the rear rim of the aquarium and make sure the glass thickness is compatible with the filter.

Before switching the filter on, ensure the filter body and pump are properly filled/primed with water. Do not run the pump dry.

For routine maintenance, clean mechanical filter media when flow begins to decrease. Biological media should generally be rinsed gently using removed aquarium water rather than chlorinated tap water.
